HUBUNGAN ANTARA STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI ORANG TUA DENGAN MOTIVASI MELANJUTKAN PENDIDIKAN KE PERGURUAN TINGGI PADA SISWA KELAS XII SMA NEGERI 89 JAKARTA

ABSTRACT Donny Andhika Satya, corelation between socioeconomic status of parents with students' motivation to continue to university, at 89 senoir high school east jakarta, script, jakarta: progranm Economics Education, Economic and Administration,Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this resarch is to get a valid and realable data or fact to know more the corelation between socioeconomic status of parents with students' motivation to continue to university, at 89 senoir high school The research heald at 89 senior high school jakarta that lasted for 1 month starting from november to december. Research method used is survey method with the approach korelasional. Population in this research is a student of SMA 89 jakarta, amaounting 720 students.affdorable to a popoulation of 240 students. The sample used was 60 students. Tecniques for sampling is done with tecnique random propotional (proposional random sampling) From the calculation results obatained linear simple regresion equation Y = 83,10 + 0,771X. test requirements analysis to test the estimated regression error normalitas Y on X that indicates that error estimated regression Y on X berdistribusi normal. This is edvidenced by the test calculation on the extent liliefors significance a = 0,05 which indicates that Lohitung (0,091) < Ltabel (0,114). In the hypothetical test, test keberartian coefficients using regression analysis varian table ANAVA obtained resulst that Fhitung (34,2) > Ftabel (4,02) means that regression. From the results of the regression tset linearitas obatined Fhitung (0,87) < Ftabel (1,92) that indicates the regression model is used linear./ Correalation coefficients calculated using the formula the product moment rxy = 0,610 are included in the categorry. Significance of test results obatined 5,87 dan ttabel sebesar 1,68 this means that there is a relationship between socioeconomic status of parents with students' motivation to continue to university, at 89 senoir high school east jakarta, koefisiensi determinasi calculation shows 0,3724. This means that the variations that occour on the students' motivation to continue to university 37,24% determined by socioeconomic status of parents and the remaining 62,76% is determined by other factors. Conclusion of resarach shows a possitive relationship, linear, and significan socioeconomic status of parents with students' motivation to continue to university, at 89 senoir high school east jakarta. This show that the better the socioeconomic status of parents the higher the motivation to continue to university, at 89 senoir high school east jakarta
