PENGARUH PENANAMAN MODAL ASING DAN PENGELUARAN PEMERINTAH TERHADAP KETIMPANGAN PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI DI PROVINSI BANTEN TAHUN 2008-2012

This research is aimed to analyze the effects of Foreign Direct Investment and Government Expenditure towards the Inequality of Economics Development in Banten Province. The data used in this research are the secondary data which is panel type of data with random effects model method in the year of 2008-2012, sourced from BKPM and BPS. The method of this research is expose facto. The technique of data analysis in this research is the multiple regression analysis. Based on multiple regressions analysis, the output has indicated the foreign direct investment (X1) is negatively and significantly affected to the number of inequality of economics development (Y) in Banten Province. The government expenditure (X2) is negatively and significantly affected to the number of inequality of economics development (Y) in Banten Province. Based on the test with respect to F significant value = 0.000002 < 0.05, it is can be concluded that the foreign direct investment and government expenditure as togetherness is significantly affected on a = 5% against to the number of inequality of economics development in Banten Province. Determination coefficient value that obtained is 0.479104, it means that the changes of inequality of economics development could be explained by the foreign direct investment as amount 47.9 %. While, the rest could be explained by others factor that can not be mentioned in this research model. Keywords: Inequality of economics development, foreign direct investment, government expenditure
