Bu çalışmada, renal difüzyon ağırlıklı görüntüleme (DAG) ile, diabetes mellitusa (DM) bağlı renal hasarı değerlendirmeyi ve klinik diyabetik nefropati evresi ile ?apparent diffusion coefficients" (ADC) değerleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemeyi amaçladık. Klinik olarak DM tanısı ile izlenen ve henüz diyalize girmeyen ve renal radyopatolojisi olmayan 78 olgu (43 erkek ve 35 kadın; ortalama yaş, 56) ve kontrol grubu için, klinik ve laboratuar olarak DM'li ve renal hastalığı olmayan, sağlıklı 22 olgu (11 erkek ve 11 kadın; ortalama yaş, 51) çalışmaya dahil edildi.
