Abstract: This paper discusses algorithms of the star light refraction trajectory calculation for spherically homogeneous and inhomogeneous atmosphere. Assessment is given to the possibility of using the laminated atmosphere model as well as parametrical formulas for the assessment of the refraction main characteristics. Simple algorithm of the refraction inverse problem solution allows to restore the refraction index profile using measurements of the refraction angle.Note: Research direction:Mathematical modelling in actual problems of science and technic
