Abstract: The paper describes development and implementation of methods for structuring Fortran-written application software and its execution in on-board control system which has PDF-11like processor, two-level core memory (64 K basic and 1M expanded) and external bubble storage device. The specific features of on-board computer and application software chain structure resulted in necessity of special memory managing technique development in on-board operating systems. With the help of special simulating tool the effectiveness of memory managing strategies depending on memory configuration and/or application software structure can be evaluated.Note: Research direction:Programming, parallel computing, multimedi
