The study investigated 225 patients of abdominal hydatidosis disease.Patients were analyzed in terms of age, sex, signs, sites and symptoms. A detailed history was taken and routine and specific investigations were done which revealed abnormal observations. Abdominal pain/discomfort was the most common clinical presentation seen in 89.3% patients.. Ultrasonography was conclusive in 97.3% operations. Computerised tomography was conclusive in 18 patients .ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) was helpful in 67.7% patients with intrabiliary rupture of cyst .All the patients underwent surgery .Partial systectomy with external tube drainage was the most common surgical procedure.
