Comparative anatomy in order urticales with special reference to local genera; anatomy Urticales.

49 species included 29 genera were investigated.. The genera considered being : ulmus, celtis, Gironniera; Broussonetia, Streblus, Cudrania,Arto carpous, Antiaris, Conocephalus, Hulletia, Humutus, Cannabis, Urtica,Urena, Laportea, Flourya, Piela, Lecanthus, Bochmeria, Pouzolzia etc. In each specie anatomy of leaf, petiole, young stem and wood (where possible) were investigated .Routine methods employed in the study of anatomy have been followed , however the study of epidermis (cuticle, stomata etc), for venation foster and for maceration of wood Jeffery were followed. Terminology of trichome is mainly after Esau, Stace and Uphof (1962).The study reveals that Lamina usually dersiventral and hypostomatic midrib ranges from cordate raniform, pyriform, and hemispheral. Petiole varied in outline and stem epidermis is usually single layered
