The genera considered being : ulmus, celtis, Gironniera; Broussonetia, Streblus, Cudrania,Arto carpous, Antiaris, Conocephalus, Hulletia, Humutus, Cannabis, Urtica,Urena, Laportea, Flourya, Piela, Lecanthus, Bochmeria, Pouzolzia etc. In each specie anatomy of leaf, petiole, young stem and wood (where possible) were investigated .Routine methods employed in the study of anatomy have been followed , however the study of epidermis (cuticle, stomata etc), for venation foster and for maceration of wood Jeffery were followed.
