Chemical investigation of toxic plants of the valley: Alkaloids of corydalis flabellata.

The work started under a programme for investigation of the toxic plants of the valley and its environment corydalis flabellata has been collected from Ladakh because other carydalis species have yielded interesting alkaloids and no work had yet been reported on this particular species. The extraction has been done by two different methods the second one, more exhaustive in nature, is standardised by kametani.The theoretical part of the thesis reviews the existing position with regard to corydalis alkaloids, especially benzylisoquinoliner.The presently known compounds are also listed
