International audienceThis regional synthesis of mortuary behavior relies on analysis of 73 funeral sites located across the northwest quarter of the Parisian basin, and dated between the 5th and 1st century B.C. Mortuary treatments were considered ranging in time from the choice of burial location and continuing until the close of the grave. Our methodological approach seeks to characterize the evolving use of funeral space during the La Tene period, and the internal hierarchy of monumental tombs. Mortuary characteristics will be discussed at both the population and individual levels.
