International audienceSensor nodes are typically powered by a chemicalbattery source that has a finite lifetime. To design an energyefficient self powered node, it is important to model the energyconsumption of the wireless sensor. This paper describesan energy consumption model which is used to analyze nodeautonomy. This model allows to estimate the power consumptionof each element of the sensor node. The definition of the differentnode units is first introduced. Then, a complete energy model forsensor node is derived using LoRa (Long Range Communication)technology
