What types of research data do researchers collect, manage and create in a humanities university ? What are their habits as regards storing, archiving, dissemination and sharing of their research data ? How do they regard and define research data, as well as their own attitudes about open access? What are their main needs when it comes to research management or sharing? What do they consider to be the right level for a data policy? In order to answer all these questions, a statistical and qualitative survey was carried out at Rennes 2 University during the spring of 2017.
