En los últimos años, se ha incrementado en Argentina el cultivo de arveja (Pisum sativum L.), generándose la necesidad de desarrollar nuevas variedades con mayor rendimiento y mejores características nutricionales. La información acerca de la diversidad genética entre distintos cultivares es necesaria para definir qué progenitores van a ser utilizados en los planes de mejora. En el presente estudio se evaluaron 23 accesiones de arveja de diversos orígenes, utilizando marcadores SSR (Simple Sequence Repeat) y SRAP (Sequence-Related Amplified Polymorphism).
