The current study examined whether Chinese children's and adolescents' moral emotion attributions (morally responsible emotions and morally disengaged emotions) of cyberbullying events would be different when they were put in different roles (perpetrators and bystanders). The influences of age, social desirability and previous cyberbullying experiences (bullies, victims, both bullies and victims, non-cyberbullying experiences) on their moral emotions and judgement were also investigated.
