Purpose: Prostate cancer (PCa) is among leading causes of cancer deaths in North America. To date, androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) is the gold standard treatment for patients with biochemical recurrence (BCR) after radical prostatectomy or radiation therapy. However, ADT invariably fails and is followed by castration resistance (CRPC) and further progression of the disease.
