Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) is known as a particle of silver with size range is varied between 1 to 100 nm. Silver nanoparticles is widely use in biosensor and molecular labelling field. In the synthesis of AgNPs process, it is quite challenging to develop a controlled synthesis procedure in order to get the uniform nano size distribution. In this study, uniform and well-dispersed silver nanoparticles were prepared by a simple and green chemical reduction method. The particles were synthesized via the reduction of silver nitrate by the presence of glucose and ascorbic acid as reducing agent and surfactant, respectively.
