Spot welding is the most important process in automotive industries to joining the sheet metal. For having more complex structure, it is important to know and understand the behavior of spot welding process. In this project, the spot welding behavior using different variables for low carbon steel was studied experimentally. The different types of orientation, thicknesses including low carbon steel 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm were considered in this project. There are also variable welding current including 3kA, 4kA, and 5kA and welding time including 1 second, 2 second, and 3 second were selected.
