A case Study of Physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis of stroke

Title: A Case study of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis of stroke. Objectives: The goal of this bachelor thesis has been set as processing a case study of patient after ischemic stroke, and summarising important theoretical knowledge regarding this diagnosis. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - a general part and a special part. The general part concerns a theory which is necessary to understand this issue thoroughly. That means anatomical basis of the disease, characteristic of the disease including clinical manifestation, epidemiology, risk factors and treatment. The special part includes a detailed case report of the patient including input analysis, performed therapies, output analysis and evaluation of the effect of the therapy. As the patient also suffers from diabetic polyneuropathy, this thesis also covers this topic shortly. Results: The patien's health condition improved. He doesn't tire so fast, tonus of lower extremities' muscles and abdominal wall's muscles has increased, stereotypes of gait and breathing has improved.
