Reasons for placing children in the Children's Home in Budkov in 2006 - 2016

The bachelor thesis deals with the reasons that led to the placement of children in Budkov Children's Home. The theoretical part describes the institution of the family, its types and functions. It also describes family faults and the reasons for placing vulnerable children out of the original environment. The theoretical part also describes the possibilities of placing children and the types of existing facilities for alternative or institutional care. The empirical part includes the definition of the research probe methodology and the description of the Budkov Children's Home as a research site. The placement reasons found during a given period are divided into five categories. Each category has a case report that describes the specific reason why the child was in a Children's Home. In conclusion, the possibility of using the bachelor thesis is proposed
