Physiotherapeutic processes for a patient after reconstruction of the rotator cuff

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of rupture of rotator cuff tears and it is focused especially on subsequent physiotherapy for people who went through surgical treatment (rotator cuff repair). The theoretical part describes the anatomy and function of the shoulder girdle, focuses on the role of the rotator cuff. The theoretical part of this work is also dedicated to the etiology, symptoms and prevalence of tears, its diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Last but not least, the postoperative physiotherapeutic process is described. The practical part deals with the case studies of three patients who have undergone surgical reconstruction of the rotator cuff. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to propose and apply suitable physiotherapeutic process after rotator cuff repair. Another objective was to adapt the therapeutic unit to the frequent upper limb load to prevent the fixation of bad motion stereotypes. The last objective was to evaluate the possibility of returning to workload and to the usual types of daily activities according to the time distance from the surgery
