Dealing with problems occuring in translations of German texts about protection of enviroment

The submitted bachelor thesis deals with methods and analysis of translations from German to Czech on environmental protection. The aim of the thesis is to analyse selected translations using the theory of skopos and outline of used translation strategies. The thesis summarizes the basic concepts of translation theory and deals with the rules of the translation process and its problems. Last but not least, it also includes an inventory of approaches to expert texts, their types and level of expertise. Further more, the chosen translated texts are individually analysed, both their original versions and the resulting translations and their process. At the end of each analysis, an overview of applied translation strategies with specific examples is available
