Translation of the Guide Texts for the New Exposition of the Červená Lhota Castle from Czech to German Language, their Optimization and Translatological Analysis

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the theory of translations. The introductory part deals with the definition of general translation. Modern period translation and its development are analysed in the next part. In the context of historical text translations it is important to include topics related to professional translators, guides and interpreters. The following part defines technical translation, analyses features of translation and focuses on translation of technical texts itself. The empirical part analyses a travel guide text which I translated for German guides at the State Castle of Cervena Lhota.
