This qualitative research explores the impact of intermediate school schedules on the relationships that are formed between teachers and students. The purpose of this study was to examine selected intermediate level Prince Edward Island teachers' experiences of the ways timetabling affect their interactions and relationships with students and their perceptions of themselves as successful educators. The study considers that relationships between teachers and students may be fragmented and thus impacting the teachers ability to respond to challenges of learning and discipline.
