In this paper, I examined two questions; the first, how do the vocational qualifications induce the female high school students to choose the institution in Japan, which has two short-term higher educational institutions, the senmon-gakko, so-called Japanese vocational school and the junior college, of which institutional positioning is very different? And the second, what kinds of qualifications (the aspect of the quality) and how many qualifications do the youth female do and will earn (the aspect of the quantity)?
