The damping of multi-modal oscillations through supplementary control of multiple HVDC systems is presented. The resulting controller produced is a fixed loworder decentralised controller, capable of providing adequate damping towards the low-frequency power oscillations. Linear analysis is substantiated with non-linear simulations in DIgSILENT PowerFactory with detailed representation of HVDC links.Accepted versio
