Mankind is an important factor for landscape and soil change. The reconstruction of past human activities in agricultural lands is a challenge in itself because in these archaeological areas, evidence of artefacts is normally scarce or missing. This challenge must be met with a geoarchaeological methodology that goes beyond usual archaeological approaches.
