e-Maintenance expresses the emerging synthesis of two considerable trends in today’s society: the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT), and the growing importance of maintenance as a key strategy for managing the product life cycle. In this research I studied and analyzed novel ICT models and technologies that can support innovative methods of e-Maintenance for the management of machines in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
