This research utilizes and develops high resolution satellite remote sensing applications with the aim of detecting and interpret archaeological sites. Other not invasive technologies have been applied together with remote sensing, allowing to verify and integrate remote sensed data, such as geophysics, digital photogrammetry, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). Two case studies have been examined to this purpose. The first investigates Uşaklı Höyük site, in Turkey.
