HRAS gene is involved in the majority of bladder cancers, in its promoter we found two G-rich sequences able to fold into G4-DNA structures. We demonstrated how these sequences are inhibitors of HRAS transcription. They are recognized by transcriptional factors that destabilized them and by G4-DNA stabilizers molecules. Given these features HRAS G4-DNA can be potential targets for different anticancer strategie
