We present an all-optical routing architecture for the radio-over-fibre (RoF) in-building network, in order to create an overlay of functional clusters over the physical infrastructure supporting multi-standard wireless services. We investigate a simple wavelength channel routing which employs an optical phase modulator to generate an optical frequency comb of higher harmonics, followed by selection of one of these harmonics. Simulation results have been obtained for a multi-standard signal (125Mbit/s OFDM at 2.5GHz plus 2Gbit/s 16-QAM at 5GHz) with satisfactory EVM performance. Additionally, experimental results for 150Mbit/s 64-QAM signal and IEEE 802.11a WLAN signal are also analysed
