Most of the analog-to-digital converters (ADC) nowadays are designed for a specific application, which gives opportunities to optimize them in a system context while aintaining similar system performance. In this paper, we propose a design method based on using the priori statistical properties of the input signal to optimize the design of the ADC and the posteriori input signal information for adaptation for a multi-carrier system.
