Abstract The aim of the study was to examine and analyze the relationship on emotional intelligence with job insecurity and organizational commitment in organizations. Sample participants were 109 employees from various public and private sector organizations in Småland county, Sweden, with females representing 69.72% (N =76). Three instruments were used in the online study survey to collect data and these were Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TEIQ), Job Insecurity Questionnaire and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire.
