This paper has been written within the context of the session entitled Water and its effect on shaping the territory: landscapes, policies and proposals of the conference \u201cOf mountains and water: the wrinkles and flows of the Earth\u201d. The subject chosen is the study and cartographic reconstruction using GIS of the aqueduct designed for the city of Verona in the 19th century and later on till the development of the nowadays technology network. So geo-historic archival documents are particularly important not only for the significance of a geo-historic memoir but also, in our case, to identify the origin of the water network of a city and retrace the evolution.
