<strong>BACKGROUND:</strong> Hypercholesterolemia is among the most common health problems treated with<br />traditional remedies. <em>Nigella sativa</em> (NS) is an effective plant for treating hypercholesterolemia.<br />However, the effects of this herb on hematologic factors and hemostasis system have not been<br />elucidated.
