BACKGROUND AND AIM: This study was designed to assess the correlation between chronological age and modified Demirjian estimated dental age. METHODS: Panoramic radiographs of 183 Patients between 13.5 and 20.5 years old were assessed for the developmental stage of lower right third molars. Student’s t-test was used to measure the same hypothesis of the chronological age and estimated modified Demirjian dental age described above and Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to measure the linear correlation between them.
