BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: The Psychology of "self" is defined as the ordering of human experience and behavior. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between childhood and attachment damages with the integrity of the "self" in people with borderline personality disorder. METHODS: This descriptive correlation study was conducted on 100 patients with borderline personality disorder referred to a psychiatric clinic in Sari hospital, aged 55-18, who were selected by convenience sampling method.
