BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used in the treatment of Gram-negative bacterial infections. In this study, the protective effect of hydroalcoholic extract of Lavandula officinalis on gentamicin-induced nephrotoxicity was studied.
