<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p><strong>Objective:</strong> The present study aimed at examining the effectiveness of Gottman couple therapy on improving marital adjustment and couples' intimacy.</p><p><strong>Method</strong><strong>:</strong> This was a semi- experimental study with pretest, post-test, and follow-up assessments. A total of 16 couples (32 individuals) were selected using convenience sampling method considering inclusion- exclusion criteria; they were then randomly assigned into experimental (N = 16) and control (N = 16) groups.
