An approach to the occupation and exploitation of the Valencian central and southern regions during the Cardial Neolithic | Aproximación a la ocupación y explotación de las comarcas centro-meridionales valencianas durante el neolítico cardial

This paper tries to offer keys for interpreting the territorial behaviour of the first groups with a productive economy. This is based primarily on various aspects of the archaeological sites and their immediate environment, but we also consider symbolic features such as rock art. Finally, we propose some hypotheses to explain the organization and evolution of the Neolithic settlement patterns in the central-south of the Valencian region of Spain. | Este trabajo pretende ofrecer las claves para la interpretación del comportamiento territorial de los primeros grupos con economía productora. Para ello, nos apoyamos principalmente en diferentes características de los yacimientos y sus entornos inmediatos, sin olvidar otros elementos como el Arte rupestre y otras manifestaciones simbólicas. Finalmente planteamos hipótesis para la organización y evolución del poblamiento neolítico en las comarcas centro-meridionales valencianas (España)
