Digital segregation refers to differentiation of access and use of information and communication digital technologies (TDIC ). That differentiation can be established in socio-demographic and territorial conditions. This article is an attempt to study the digital segregation in local and regional scales, particularly in the comarcas of Barcelona province and the districts of Barcelona in 2000. The use of territorial household information revealed the existence of certain social variables that affect the Internet connection
