To establish whether hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis suppression (HPAS) could be reversed in hypocortisolaemic asthmatic children treated with steroids without sacrificing asthma control.Methods. In this case series, treatment of six hypocortisolaemic patients was modified by introducing steroid-sparing asthma medications.
