he present study aimed to analyze the participation of the municipality of Dom Pedrito/RS (Brazil) in the National School Food Program in the years 2011 to 2016. Methodologically as a way to respond to the objectives a descriptive research was carried out. Data collection took place in two moments first data from the National Fund for Education Development were used in the reports 'Acquisitions of Family Farming' and 'Financial Funds'. Subsequently, an interview was held with the person responsible for articulating the National School Food Program in the municipality. It was observed that the municipality of Dom Pedrito/RS presented indexes lower than the minimum value of 30% of the transfer of National Fund for Education Development fund...
