This article presents the individual competencies in the project management (PM) 2.0 paradigm in the area of Information Technology (IT). An exploratory and qualitative research was conducted, with an exploratory focus group and a set of interviews with IT professionals. Ninety-four 94 skills were collected, grouped into four different types of skills: personal, communication, technical and business, and interpersonal skills. All of these skills raised in the focus group and in the interviews were discussed in the light of the literature.
