Epigraphs by German grammar and poet from Augsburg Ioann Pinitian (1477/1478 - 1542) to the German translation of the treatise "Phisicke Against Fortune" by Italian humanist and poet Francesco Petrarca almost didn't draw attention of researchers. Scientific and cultural value of these texts consists of typological uniqueness (epigraphs were ordered in two languages - German and Latin, to the translation of the composition by Petrarch which was created nearly two centuries earlier) and thematic variety. Main thesis: Pinitian's texts don't annotate Petrarch's dialogues. They briefly retell main Petrarch`s ideas and thoughts, or turn into the independent comment of the author of epigraphs to dialogues and offer his own "reasonings on a subject...
