The article shows a fragment of research grant project results of the study of psychological factors that influence the alcohol consumption by childbearing age women in Russia. Research materials of sample of 360 non-pregnant women living in Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod region, at risk for alcohol use, described. Selected socio-psychological determinants of alcohol use by women of childbearing age in high-risk amounts, at the group level that are associated with the perceptions of women about drinking alcohol other people.
