The article is devoted to art-speech system A. P. Chekhov, specifics of individual perception, which is implemented in the language of the writer. The study of lexico-semantic system of the language is done using field methods. Structuring and analysis of the author's lexico-semantic field show, as shown major categories, concepts in individual language system writer, reveal the specifics of its value orientation and language priorities.
