Students' Initial Impressions of Teaching Effectiveness

224 p.Thesis (Ph.D.)--University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 2000.Based on these results, the most important finding is that most student open-ended comments regarding their instructors on the first day of class, whether elicited at the end of class or when instructed to stop a tape when an instructor did something that affected their impression, focused on Communicative Competence.
