A novel strategy is developed to construct nonfullerene nanotubes through the formation of bisaxially bridged dendritic metalloporphyrin complexes and a successive application of the "cored dendrimer" method. Each reaction was monitored by UV-Vis spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, MALDI-MS, and SEC. Upon core removal, average mass loss of 734 Da (tin porphyrin core) per monomeric unit was exhibited in the MALDI mass spectra for each oligomer. The cored out structure 53 was soluble in common organic solvents enabling their partial size separation by a preparative SEC.
