The efforts divide into three thrusts: (1) digital control system analysis, (2) design of IC-based digital controller, and (3) implementation and testing of the design. As for digital control system analysis, a time-invariant modeling concept is introduced by including switching frequency and sampling frequency. In digital controller design, two most important aspects that are covered are: (1) a multi-port single controller and (2) a digital phase modulator.
