En esta Tesis se estudió aplicación de la fotocatálisis heterogénea para eliminar microorganismos presentes en el aire. Específicamente, se estudió el empleo de radiación UV y dióxido de titanio soportado sobre placas de vidrio para inactivar esporos de Bacillus subtilis. El desarrollo del trabajo de Tesis comprendió las siguientes etapas: - Se diseñó y construyó un dispositivo experimental para irradiar esporos depositados sobre superficies.
