Tough and actuating hydrogel materials along with recent advancements in processing techniques, such as 3D-printing, give the field of soft robotics the ability to benefit many different areas. One such area is prosthetics and the creation of a soft prosthetic hand, but very little work exploring the use of hydrogel materials for this specific application as been reported.
